Treading Water

The Mets are struggling so far this year. Beyond Johan Santana who has been great their pitching not been consistant. The East will be a fight all year, so I think the Mets are trying to hang in there until they their pitchers back. They might not get the Pedro of old, but he is the emotional leader of that team. The Mets play better when he is in the dugout. When Pedro returns the front of the Mets rotation will be stronger, I think that will make the rest of the rotation better. Which will also light a fire in the Mets offense. I still think the Mets will win their division in the end, but if they don' there will be major changes in the offseason including the manager.
